Justin Bieber did NOT lecture Zac Efron about his career choices, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According Us Weekly, Bieber and Efron were recently hanging out at the actor’s home when the singer decided to give his friend unsolicited professional advice. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid Bieber suggested Efron “be more selective about the roles he takes,” adding, “Justin was very honest and kind of went in on Zac.”
The magazine’s questionable insider then says Bieber assured Efron he’s been a fan of his since High School Musical, and the actor even “appreciated” the input, telling Bieber to “keep breaking boundaries.” “[Bieber] was giving him life tips,” further alleges the outlet’s “source,” who doesn’t seem to realize that Efron is six years older than the pop star who’s supposedly acting as his mentor.
Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us no such discussion between Bieber and Efron ever took place. We’re told the magazine’s story is simply “not true.” This made-up tale is seemingly just a way for Us Weekly to combine two random big name celebrities into a single story, but there’s no truth to it.
