Eddie Murphy is not going to be a grandfather because his eldest daughter Bria is not pregnant, despite a new webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the record. We’re told the claim is untrue.
According to the repeatedly discredited MediaTakeOut, Bria, the oldest of Murphy’s nine children, is expecting a baby. The webloid reports Murphy was “at a Los Angeles premiere” on Monday night with a number of “the ladies in his life,” and the actor’s daughter looked pregnant. The unreliable outlet writes, “He brought his baby’s mama Paige Butcher, daughters Bria and Shayne Murphy, and ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy.But what had everyone’s eyes wide open was the fact that his eldest daughter Bria was CLEARLY hiding what looked like a baby bump.”
MediaFakeOut further states, “That ain’t gas or bloating either… that’s a BABY IN THERE.” The webloid notes that while Murphy has nine children, he’s got “no grandkids” and must be “over the moon” with the baby news. But there’s one slight problem with MTO’s report: Bria isn’t expecting.
Of course, Gossip Cop is not surprised by the falsity of the site’s report since we have repeatedly corrected the outlet, which has seemingly impregnated more women than a fertility clinic. It should be noted that MediaFakeOut knows so little about the subjects of its stories that it didn’t even realize the “Los Angeles premiere” it referenced was for a movie called Amateur Night, and Bria’s one of its stars (pictured above, center). In any event, a mutual pal of Gossip Cop and Murphy’s assures us the actor’s daughter is “not pregnant.”
