Blue Ivy Carter asked Beyonce’s mom if she could swim before the girl’s grandmother, Tina, jumped off a yacht in the South of France. Watch the adorable video below.
On Sunday, Tina Knowles posted video of herself on a yacht, right before she was about to jump off the side of the vessel’s second floor. As she debates whether or not to voluntarily go overboard, 4-year-old Blue Ivy can be heard asking her grandmother, “Do you really know how to swim?” Tina responds, “Blue don’t scare me.” It also sounds like Beyonce says in the background, “She’s going to make somebody reconsider.”
In the end, Tina leaps off the side and, after she comes up for air, gives the okay sign. Along with the video she posted to Instagram, Tina wrote, “This is my first jump from the second story. Which gave me the courage to go up higher.”
Jay Z, Blue Ivy, Tina and other family members have been enjoying their time abroad as Beyonce performs her Formation World Tour across Europe. She’s slated to wrap up that leg of the tour on August 3 before returning home for concerts in the U.S. throughout September and the beginning of October.
