‘American Horror Story’ Releases 6 Cryptic Teasers for Season 6

FX's American Horror Story returns in less than two months for its sixth season and, unlike previous seasons, viewers still have no idea what the show's subtitle and central theme are.

But that isn't stopping FX and its award-winning marketing machine behind the Ryan Murphy/Brad Falchuk anthology from getting an early start promoting the upcoming season. To that end, FX has released six new cryptic promos supporting season six. (Anyone else curious about the number six: six teasers, released all at once — unlike previous seasons — for a sixth season?)

Most of the ensemble cast is all expected to return with Murphy making offers to all of his season five stars that they're welcome to return if they so desire. Angela Bassett and Cheyenne Jackson are officially confirmed and Lady Gaga will also come back at some point.
