The eight additional episodes will launch this fall on the NBCUnivesal-owned cable channel.
USA Network can't get enough of the Chrisley family.
The NBCUniversal-owned cable channel has ordered eight more season four episodes of Chrisley Knows Best, it was announced Friday.
The additional order brings the season total to 20 episodes, one up from season three of the unscripted reality series about an outspoken Georgia patriarch and his colorful clan.
The announcement comes a little less than a month into season four, which is airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. The season will be split into two parts, and the final eight episodes of the season will air this fall.
“The Chrisleys complete the USA brand and pave the way in meaningful, reality programming consistently providing humor and heart. We are thrilled to continue our commitment to them,” USA alternative programming chief Jessica Sebastian said. “The family has evolved since we first met them, but time after time they have become even more enjoyable to watch, and we cannot wait to continue following them on their crazy, comedic yet always entertaining journey.”
Chrisley Knows Best has been an important tool in USA's arsenal as the network looks to expand its unscripted programming with upcoming comedy competition series First Impressions, which hails from SNL alum Dana Carvey.
Along with scripted comedy Playing House, Chrisley Knows Best is also one of the few half-hours on the network, which has turned its focus toward original hourlong dramas in recent years as USA looks to abandon its "blue skies" approach in favor of darker, edgier content.
