See how Uncle Jesse reacts to the review from THR's Daniel Fienberg.
John Stamos is having quite the week on late-night TV.
First, he starred in Stephen Colbert's cop drama reboot, Full House Nights. Then on Thursday night, he endured Late Night's Seth Meyers reading to him not-so-great reviews of Fuller House (while Stamos was a really good sport about it).
Starting off the interview, Meyers mentioned to Stamos that Full House has "never been a critical darling."
"What's the opposite of 'darling'?" Stamos responded. So Meyers brought up the "mean reviews" of the reboot, Fuller House, that he wanted to read and discuss.
The list of reviews for Netflix's recent reboot started with The Hollywood Reporter's Daniel Fienberg, who said about the Netflix reboot, "it's doubtful that there will be a more painful 2016 TV episode than the Fuller House pilot."
To which Stamos responded, "He was being mauled by a bear when he wrote that. You'll love episode two, Daniel!"
Another review said Fuller House was "like a porn parody without the porn," and one compared it to necrophilia.
Stamos was a good sport, though, saying that the show is really about the fans, telling one reviewer "James, it's Fuller House, not Room!" The actor also added, "After five days, Netflix said 'let's do a second season,' so I thank the fans for that."
