Fox's 24: Legacy has added a pair to its cast.
Ashley Thomas and Zayne Emory have booked roles in the franchise's revival, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The new take features an all-new cast of characters and will be structured in the same style of the original series. 24: Legacy revolves around a military hero's (Straight Outta Compton's Corey Hawkins) return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back — compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.
Thomas will take on the series regular role of Isaac Carter, Eric's (Hawkins) older brother who is angry at the returning Army Ranger about their bitter past. That includes the fact that Eric is now married to Isaac's former girlfriend, Nicole (Anna Diop).
Thomas, repped by ICM Partners and Independent Talent Group, counts Beowulf and Criminal Justice among his credits.
Emory (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) will recur as Drew Phelps, a junior at Marshall High School who has a crush on Amira. He's repped by Abrams Artists and Justice & Ponder.
24 alums Manny Coto and Evan Katz will pen the script and executive produce alongside Howard Gordon and Brian Grazer. Stephen Hopkins will direct the pilot for 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine TV and Gordon's Teakwood Lane.
