The world of "Carpool Karaoke" is getting bigger every day. Not only is James Corden shopping a series based on his viral Late Late Show segment, CBS is giving it a primetime showcase in an effort to drum up more attention for the late-night host.

The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special, no easy feat to utter without pausing for a breath, will air Tuesday, March 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The show will draw from past clips of the segments' illustrious crooning guests and feature a new sing-off with Corden sitting shotgun with Jennifer Lopez. “I have loved every minute of hosting The Late Late Show," said Corden, who's been on the job since March 2015. "It’s been an incredible year. I look forward to this hour on primetime to look at some of my favorite moments and share a couple of great new ones. I can’t wait!”

Guests of "Carpool Karaoke," which have helped generate more than 800 million views to the show's YouTube account, have included Justin Bieber, Mariah Carrey, Jennifer Hudson and Adele. The latter has already logged 84 million views on its own.

“We are so excited to be doing this show in primetime on CBS,” said executive producer Ben Winston. “It has been the most wonderful first year on air, and to celebrate the season this way is really special. The show will include a mix of fun new moments and some of our favorite bits from this past year.”

As The Hollywood Reporter was first to report on Wednesday, Late Late Show producers are also exploring a spinoff series of "Carpool Karaoke" produced by CBS Television Studios and Winston’s Fulwell 73 production company.
