Kristen Stewart has been named the new face of Chanel makeup, and will star in the 2016 “Collection Eyes” campaign.

Stewart posed for famed photographer Mario Testino, and while the full ad campaign won’t be released until March, the teaser photo at right should whet fans’ appetites. According to the esteemed brand, the goal behind the portraits is to showcase the “various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman.” Stewart herself has not yet commented.

The actress and Chanel have had a successful working relationship for years now, with Stewart becoming something of a muse for Karl Lagerfeld. Most recently, in December, she starred in Lagerfeld’s “Once and Forever” short film. Stewart has also modeled in several Chanel runway shows, been the face of the company’s eyewear campaign, and promoted everything from their handbags to designer duds.

The new campaign confirms Gossip Cop was 100 percent right last month when we busted Star for falsely claiming Chanel was warning Stewart to lose weight or she’d lose her contract. Clearly, the two plan to be in business together for some time to come. Check out a larger version of the first Collection Eyes photo below! Gossip Cop will have more when the campaign debuts next month.
