Harry Styles turns 22 on Monday, and to celebrate his birthday Gossip Cop looks back at 5 wrong rumors about the One Direction singer we exclusively “blew out.”

Gossip Cop exclusively busted an absurd RadarOnline story in January 2016 that wrongly claimed Styles was being forced to appear on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” The webloid alleged the singer, who’s been recently linked to Kendall Jenner, will be filmed going on “double dates with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.” The reality is the One Direction singer will not be on the reality series. A source close to Styles assured Gossip Cop the tale was “ridiculous” and “not true.”

Gossip Cop exclusively debunked a September 2014 story begun by Perez Hilton and further embellished by HollywoodLife that alleged Styles and Katy Perry went on a date at Nobu in Los Angeles, where they “wined and dined over their mutual dislike” of Taylor Swift. We were then left with a bad taste after a source close to the situation told Gossip Cop that while they two singers “happened to be in the same place at the same time,” they 100 percent were not on a date nor did they even “dine together.”

In July 2014, Gossip Cop corrected the Australian tabloid NW, which actually published a story on its cover that blared in a headline, “Harry A Dad At 20.” The magazine even featured a photo of Styles holding what it claimed was his “daughter.” As we noted back then, the youngster he had in his arms was Lux, the daughter of his hairstylist Lou Teasdale. Of course, Gossip Cop learned all the details about the child and her mother when a source close Styles told us the tabloid’s story was fuller than little Lux’s diaper.

Gossip Cop busted the Daily Star in May 2014 when it falsely splashed on its cover that Styles was caught in an “X-rated sex pic” scandal. The newspaper’s front page showed what appeared to be the One Direction singer under that headline, “1D HARRY SEX PIC SHAME,” but the real shame was on the tabloid. As Gossip Cop was first to report, the photo (and the accompanying story) were completely phony. A good five months later, the Daily Star issued an apology that read, in part, “We said that Harry Styles of One Direction had posted explicit photos of himself online… the pictures had been Photoshopped and were fake.”

In November 2014, Gossip Cop exclusively shot down a bogus story from HollywoodLife that claimed Styles and Taylor Swift were once again “secretly dating for months,” and that he sent her 1,989 roses in honor of her album 1989. But none of it was true. Styles and Swift never reunited, and the roses claim quickly wilted after Gossip Cop was exclusively told by sources close to both singers that HollywoodLies’ entire report was “not true.”

Gossip Cop wishes Harry Styles a happy and rumor-free birthday!
