Former co-stars couldn't make the last-minute reunion because of conflicting shoots, jury duty, Taco Tuesday and not being able to get an Uber.

George Clooney stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night, and the host stage a special E.R. reunion in his honor.

But it's not as star-studded as a fan of the long-running show would have hoped.

"Why isn't anyone bringing me a scalpel?" asked the Hail, Caesar! star, wondering why former co-stars like Julianna Margulies and Noah Wyle weren't present for the major moment.

Apparently, because the gig was so last-minute, Kimmel noted that all potential participants couldn't make it because of conflicting shoots, jury duty, Taco Tuesday and not being able to get an Uber: "I'm sorry, we really probably shouldn't even have done this."

But not every former onscreen doctor turned down the offer. As House star Hugh Laurie walks out, Clooney admitted, "Close enough," before using the "TV doctor" CPR technique of "Rapper's Delight" to save Kimmel's life.
