FKA Twigs did not give Robert Pattinson an “ultimatum” to get married in 2016 or “move on,” despite a fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim from a webloid that has repeatedly been caught making up stories about Pattinson. We’re told the story is “not true.”

According to the often unreliable HollywoodLife, FKA Twigs told Pattinson is no uncertain terms that they need to wed this year or “kiss her goodbye.” The webloid quotes one of its untraceable (and highly suspect) sources as saying that the singer warned her famous fiance that “she’s fed up of waiting, and she wants something small, quiet and private, so it doesn’t need any elaborate plans.” And while the site’s supposed “source” says there are no particular plans for a wedding, the alleged insider somewhat contradicts his or herself a few lines later, claiming the nuptials would be “in front of a handful of friends and family in the UK… something in the summer.”

As further proof that HollywoodLies knows little or nothing about Pattinson, the webloid says the actor and FKA Twigs’ wedding may have been postponed because of “Rob’s closeness to his ex Kristen Stewart.” The blog then cites a provably manufactured tale from In Touch that absurdly claimed the engaged couple had a huge fight when he allegedly suggested they go to an event to support Stewart’s movie Clouds of Sils Maria. That never happened, and FKA Twigs has not given Pattinson an “ultimatum.”

Naturally, the webloid doesn’t mention where or when FKA Twigs warned Pattinson he needs to marry her this year. And it’s because this scenario never took place. While an actual insider would not furnish details about Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ marriage plans out of respect for them, we’ve been exclusively assured the couple is “on the same page,” and the tall tale from HollywoodLies is “not true at all.”

Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted the sites for it’s made-up stories about Pattinson. In the past, for example, we corrected the outlet for wrongly reporting he was in a “romantic” relationship with Katy Perry. And Gossip Cop also exclusively corrected the webloid for wholly manufacturing a (nonexistent) relationship between him and Riley Keough. Much like those untruths, the latest claim about FKA Twigs giving Pattinson an “ultimatum” is similarly bogus.
