CW Schedules Julie Plec’s ‘Containment,’ ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ ‘Reign’ Returns

The network has also revealed a few of its season finale dates.

The CW formalized its midseason and revealed some of its season finale dates Thursday.

Included in the schedule are premiere dates for Julie Plec's Containment, which is now being billed as a "limited series," as well as the final season of Beauty and the Beast and the return of Reign. Containment will have a short order of episodes, but the network is leaving the door open for a second season.

Containment will premiere Tuesday, April 19 at 9 p.m., scoring the prime post-Flash time slot currently occupied by iZombie. The latter series will wrap up its sophomore r un with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, April 12 starting at 8 p.m.

Reign will return with original episodes on Monday, April 25 at 8 p.m. as Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will wrap up its freshman season on Monday, April 18 at 8 p.m.

The summer will see the final season of Beauty and the Beast kick off on Thursday, June 2 at 9 p.m.
