Austin Mahone has a new woman in his life, and he’s setting the record straight: Katya Henry is NOT a porn star.
Mahone only revealed the romance earlier this week, sharing a photo of himself holding hands with Henry in a movie theater. But like with fans of Justin Bieber, One Direction, and other hot young singers, supporters don’t always take well to their crush flaunting their love life. In fact, since Mahone’s post, Henry’s own Instagram has become filled with disparaging comments.
Many of the hateful remarks call Henry a “bitch,” make fun of her looks, and compare her unfavorably to Mahone’s ex Becky G. Quite a few people have also criticized her for posting scantily-clad photos, and there’s countless comments calling her a porn star. Of course, while arguably sexy, none of the pictures actually show Henry in a compromising position.
As a fitness model, she understandably has a number of snapshots showing off her body, which it seems some Mahomies are using as a basis to judge her character. And on Saturday, Mahone apparently got tired of it. The singer tweeted point-blank, “She’s a model not a pornstar.”
Incredibly, some so-called fans actually replied with more hate. “She is not for you,” one declared. Another said, “how much did she pay u to say this.” Someone else even wrote back, “She a HOEEEEEE.”
Gossip Cop finds it sad when celebrities share a bit of their life with fans, then get ridiculed for it. Mahone and Henry are pictured above and below at Disney World on Friday. For the record, she is quite clothed.
