The ABC-Marvel drama returns to series lows across the board.
Agent Carter did not pick up any steam between its first and second seasons. The ABC drama returned Tuesday night to series lows in live-plus-same day scores, averaging a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 in the first of back-to-back episodes — and slipping to a 0.9 in the demo the following hour.
The series, which increased an alright 60 percent in live-plus-seven ratings during its freshman year, also hit a low among total viewers: 3 million. Agent Carter, the network's second play for a Marvel TV franchise, debuted to a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 the previous January. (Based on Tuesday, there might be more interest in another comic book entry. The CW aired a special in anticipation of Legends of Tomorrow, and it averaged a 0.9 rating in the key demo.)
CBS easily topped the night thanks to NCIS. The drama, off three-tenths of a point from its last original, still took in a robust 2.4 rating among adults 18-49. NCIS: New Orleans spilled from its season high, averaging a 1.8 in the key demo before a new Limitless (1.2 adults).
Hollywood Game Night (1.2 adults) held steady on NBC, while Chicago Med (1.6 adults) dropped ahead of a steady Chicago Fire (1.7 adults). Fox comedies — New Girl (1.3 adults), Grandfathered (0.9 adults), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.1 adults), The Grinder (0.8 adults) were steady.
