The last network to plot out the remainder of the 2015-16 season puts the critically-acclaimed comedy on Sunday nights.
NBC has put the finishing touches on its midseason schedule, setting time slots and premiere dates for Heartbeat, The Carmichael Show, Crowded and Game of Silence.
All but Game of Silence will get a special sampling ahead of regular slots, with Crowded and Carmichael bowing back-to-back on Tuesday, March 8, at 10 p.m. Heartbeat will preview Tuesday, March 22, at 9 p.m. before moving to its regular 8 p.m. time slot the following night. That means the show will get an initial lead-in from The Voice.
As for the comedies, NBC is putting them on Sunday nights starting March 13. Crowded will air at 8:30 p.m., while Carmichael will follow at 9 p.m. (The latter gets back-to-back episodes that first night.)
Drama Game of Silence will air after The Blacklist once Shades of Blue's freshman run is up. The series premieres Thursday, April 7, at 10 p.m.. That lead-in has been doing well for the Jennifer Lopez drama, but the network has had an uphill battle with launching other shows (The Player, Allegiance) on The Blacklist's back.
