Adele performed “Hello” on the “X Factor UK” season 12 finale, and the studio audience and TV viewers alike were naturally, once again, blown away. watch out the video below!
“Hello,” of course,” is the first single off of Adele’s long-awaited album 25. Immediately, the song became a huge hit, and her album shattered all records for its first week of sales, selling more than 3 million copies. “Hello” has also remained on the top of numerous Billboard charts. It’s still number one of the Hot 100, Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, Dance/Mix Show Airplay, and Mainstream Top 40 charts.
In fact, it was during an “X Factor UK” show in mid-October that Adele teased that she was releasing new music. During a 30-second commercial break, though she wasn’t seen on-camera, Adele could be heard singing the lyrics, “Hello, it’s me. I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet to go over everything. They say that time’s supposed to heal you, but I ain’t done much healing.”
Before Adele’s performance of “Hello,” as Gossip Cop reported, One Direction sang “Infinity” and “History” off their Made In The A.M. album on the very “X Factor UK” stage that first made them international superstars.
