Tom Cruise is NOT celebrating Christmas with Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it’s “untrue.”
According to OK!, Cruise is reuniting with his ex-wife and daughter for the holidays. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “It’s the first time Suri will have seen Tom in months.” The magazine’s alleged insider goes on to claim that this supposed Christmas celebration will take place in Holmes’ New York City apartment over the course of two days.
The tabloid’s dubious “insider” further claims, “It was Katie’s idea for them to spend time together over the holidays,” adding, “She sees how other celebrities manage to stay friends after separating, and she thinks it’s sad that Suri so rarely sees her father.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Holmes, and we’re exclusively assured that the actress and her daughter have no plans to spend Christmas with Cruise. We’re told the tabloid’s holiday reunion tale is simply “untrue.”
Of course, the tabloid’s phony story isn’t particularly surprising. OK! is the same outlet Gossip Cop corrected over the years when it falsely reported Cruise and Holmes were getting back together, as well as falsely claimed they were all reuniting for Thanksgiving and Suri’s birthday. Much like those tales, the current Christmas story is similarly inaccurate.
