Taylor Swift Wraps ‘1989’ World Tour, Thanks Fans For ‘Incredible Adventure’

Taylor Swift is saying goodbye to a "beautiful chapter."

The superstar wrapped her "1989" World Tour on Friday night with a final show in Melbourne, and took to social media to thank fans for joining her on "the most incredible adventure."

Taylor put her bittersweet emotions front and center in several Instagram photos, including one poignant shot of her dancers giving her an onstage embrace.

"Farewell, 1989 World Tour," she captioned, including a broken heart emoji.

In another post, she acknowledged the "magical" opportunity to close out her concert series Down Under.

"Melbourne, the first two nights with you have been magical," she wrote. "Tonight we play this show for the very last time. I'm so honored I get to share the last night of the 1989 World Tour with all of you. This has been the most incredible adventure. Thank you for all of it."

Spanning 85 dates across four continents, the concert series kicked off on May 5 in Tokyo and has grossed nearly $200 million in ticket sales.

In addition, the "Wildest Dreams" singer solidified the "#squadgoals" trend with her revolving roster of special guest stars, including Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake, Miranda Lambert, The Weeknd, Mick Jagger and many more.

Taylor has another celebration just around the corner, but sounds ready for some R&R instead.

The seven-time Grammy winner turns 26 on Dec. 13, and has already said she plans to keep it "a quiet one this year.”
