Taylor Swift explains how she went “all out” for celebrity guests in a new clip from “1989 World Tour Live.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Swift announced less than a week ago that she filmed a concert documentary during various stops on her “1989 World Tour,” which ended earlier this month. The superstar shared a trailer for the film, which will stream exclusively on Apple beginning Monday. But in a new preview, fans can get a look at one of the most exciting parts of the tour.
At many of the concerts, Swift was joined by top music stars, ranging from Selena Gomez and Steven Tyler to Keith Urban and Alanis Morissette. The behind-the-scenes footage reveals how exactly each performance came together, showing never-before-seen moments from the pre-show rehearsals. In an accompanying interview, the singer details the entire process.
“When I’ll have a sound check with a special guest artist, I will meet them on the stage, introduce them to everybody,” shares Swift. Next, the performer gets a tour of the stage, and they work out choreography, deciding “together what the performance should look like.” That includes the guest even getting to choose what color the bracelets given to concertgoers should light up.
Swift says, “I didn’t want them to come and donate their time and their energy to be on my stage and not have it feel like I cared enough to give them anything that made it feel like huge. I just wanted us to go all out.” Check out the video below, and tell us what you think!
