Sandra Bullock did NOT throw a “tantrum” at the Toronto International Film Festival, despite a fictitious and extremely belated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it “never happened.”

According to Star, the actress was supposedly very difficult during a press event at the festival. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “She walked in with a scowl on her face, and the only time she smiled was when the cameras started rolling.” The magazine further alleges Bullock “went out of her way to humiliate crew members,” and quotes its questionable “insider” as saying, “She was berating the cameraman over the lighting, saying he was making her look bad.”

The magazine’s seemingly phony source also claims the Bullock wound up cutting her appearance short. “She didn’t say good-bye of thank you,” the dubious “insider” says. “She just walked out.”

What first puzzled Gossip Cop was that Toronto International Film Festival took place three months ago, and suddenly the tabloid is reporting an alleged incident now? Still, we looked into the claim, and a source involved with the festival tells us the story is not true, but with much saltier language. Additionally, a source close to Bullock also assures Gossip Cop the alleged incident “never happened.”

Bullock has been in show business for more than 20 years, and has participated in countless press conferences. By all accounts, and even by own interactions with her over the years, Bullock is always professional, while Star cannot necessarily claim that distinction.
