Ryan Reynolds and Kim Kardashian had an awkward conversation about launching their new emoji apps on the same day, at least according to a hysterical text message screengrab he posted on Twitter. Check out the photo below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian debuted her KIMOJI app early Monday. The icons are all inspired by the reality star’s life, with users able to choose from photos like her famous butt. To promote Deadpool, Reynolds also released a set of emojis Monday, all of which relate to the highly-anticipated movie.
Both stars have been promoting their respective apps all day, leading Reynolds to share the supposed chat they had about the coincidence. The actor posted his alleged text exchange with Kardashian, who is called “Kimmie K” in his phone. “Hey, KW, we launched our emojis on the same day,” wrote Reynolds. “Twinsies!”
Kardashian’s response, “Who is this?” Naturally, the rest of the convo took place through emojis. And while it would be pretty funny if it actually happened in real life, Reynolds made clear it was really just the product of his imagination. “WOW. This is an ACTUAL chat between #Deadpool & @KimKardashian that totally didn’t happen,” he tweeted with the screengrab.
Kardashian has yet to respond but she probably has her hands full at the moment. As Gossip Cop noted earlier, the high demand for KIMOJI led Apple’s app store to crash. But while Kardashian may have broken the service, Reynolds definitely wins points for creativity. See the photo below!
