The 2015 Miss Universe pageant takes place this Sunday in Las Vegas, and Gossip Cop has a look at all of the contestants. See the ladies in the photo gallery below!
A total of 80 women will compete for the crown at the 64th ceremony, which is being held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The Miss Universe title is currently held by Paulina Vega of Colombia. The United States will be represented by Olivia Jordan of Tulsa, Oklahoma (see photo right). As Gossip Cop reported, Jordan took home the crown at the Miss USA pageant in July.
Donald Trump previously owned the rights to the Miss Universe organization, but he sold the property to WME/IMG in October. Controversy arose earlier this year when NBC ended its relationship with Trump over his comments about Mexican immigrants during his presidential bid. As a result, the network refused to broadcast Miss Universe, and the show will now air on FOX, despite Trump no longer owning the rights.
