NBC's Imaginary Friend is adding to its cast.
The comedy pilot, one of the first winners from NBC's Playground comedy initiative, has cast Grey's Anatomy alum Brandon Scott.
Written by Kassia Miller, the comedy centers on Wendy, an intelligent yet unmotivated woman who discovers a special and unexpected way of dealing with her mediocre life. Writer-actress Megan Neuringer will star.
Scott will portray Brian, the IT guy at the company where Wendy works and her potential love interest.
The single-camera comedy hails from Universal Television and Sean Hayes' studio-based Hazy Mills. Hayes and Todd Milliner will exec produce.
Scott's credits include David Fincher's shelved HBO drama Utopia. His credits include Stitchers and Masters of Sex. He's repped by Innovative and Sweeney Entertainment.
