Dwayne Johnson and longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday!
Hashian was first reported to be pregnant in September. Johnson, however, only confirmed the joyous news in November. The former wrestler wrote on Instagram, “I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more… IT’S A BABY GIRL!!”
“THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you’ve sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world,” continued Johnson. “We’re so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y’all.”
Johnson amusingly added the hashtags, “#BringOnMoreEstrogenInOurHome #MeAndPuppyHobbsAreTheOnlyDudes
#2xProudPapaBear #JustOverHereMakingBabiesAndStuff #AndPalmingPregnantBellys.” The last one was a reference to the above photo, in which his hand is cradling Hashian’s baby bump.
This is Johnson’s second daughter. He is already dad to Simone from his marriage to Dany Garcia. She just turned 14 in August. The actor and Hashian have been together since 2007.
She hinted on Instagram just a few days that her little one’s arrival was imminent. “So grateful and in awe of this time. To experience creating a little life is just incredible,” wrote the first-time mom, going on to joke “#LetsJustHopeBigDaddyDoesnt=20lbBaby.”
There’s been no details on the newborn’s weight, but Gossip Cop is going to guess it’s not quite that much. Congrats to The Rock on his growing family!
