Colin Quinn apologized on Monday for having once called Tina Fey the C-word back when the two were working together on “Saturday Night Live.” As Gossip Cop reported, Fey revealed to Howard Stern during an earlier interview on his radio show that when she was the head writer of “SNL,” she got into a spat with Quinn while trying to help him on a writing project. Quinn later left an angry message on Fey’s answering machine in which he called her the C-word.

Fey told Stern she couldn’t even explain why he said such a thing, noting, “It was very random. I was like, ‘What?!’ He left me a message and said that.”

Shortly after the radio interview aired, Quinn tweeted an apology that read, “It’s all true. I have used profanity when I’ve been angry at people. When I was wrong (as with Tina) I’ve said sorry to them.”

Fey herself told Stern during the interview that she and Quinn had since buried the hatchet, adding, “I love him so much.” The former “SNL” star also stressed that their feud officially ended after the two met up at the sketch show’s 40th reunion special earlier this year.
