Celebrities Imitate Star Wars Characters Scenes

Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens hits theaters on Friday, and in honor of the film’s release, a bunch of celebrities imitated their favorite Star Wars characters and re-enacted iconic scenes from the franchise. Watch the funny video below!

The footage, courtesy of MTV, is dubbed “Hollywood Strikes Back,” and starts with Elijah Wood quoting the Star Wars opening scroll, which begins, “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.” Natalie Dormer then channels Princess Leia, saying, “Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope.”

The cast of The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, all did their best Chewbacca impressions by replicating the famous sound the wookiee makes. Benicio Del Toro also offered up a Chewbacca noise, while Seth Rogen gave a very half-hearted attempt at one. Meanwhile, Tina Fey simply insisted, “I don’t know how to do it.”

Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller referenced the iconic scene between Han Solo and Princess Leia, in which the latter says, “I love you,” and the former responds, “I know.” Tom Hiddleston brought out his inner dark side with a Darth Vader impression, saying, “Luke, I am your father.” And, Bryce Dallas Howard showed off her lightsaber skills.

Watch those celebrities and many more imitate Star Wars characters, as well as reenact their favorite scenes, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
