Caitlyn Jenner does NOT have a “secret sobriety coach,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct the inaccurate claim.

The allegation can be found in the pages of this week’s OK!, which repeats its previously-debunked claim that Jenner’s “surgeries have left her in agony.” Now the outlet says “she’s turned to a specialist to ensure she doesn’t overmedicate with pills or alcohol.” A so-called “insider” is even quoted in the tabloid as claiming the transgender star “pays her sobriety coach $1,000 per visit.”

The sessions supposedly include learning “special breathing techniques to handle pain.” Pointing out that Jenner’s “new life includes more boozy parties than she was used to,” the tabloid’s alleged source adds, “Cait figures the coaching is worth every penny.” And Gossip Cop would stand to venture this story isn’t worth the paper it was printed on.

In fact, the bogus report was released the same day OK!’s sister publication Star outrageously claimed Jenner was having regrets about her surgeries and wanted to “de-transition.” Apparently, parent company American Media couldn’t decide which false tale it wanted to tell about Jenner this week, so it went with both. And much like how the cover story claiming Jenner “wants to be Bruce again” was completely wrong, a rep for Jenner also denies she has a sobriety coach.
