Caitlyn Jenner is NOT being “exploited” by her transgender friends, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can bust the claim, which comes from one of the tabloids. We’re told the story is simply “false.”
The rumor can be found in the pages of this week’s OK!, which alleges “most” of the people in Jenner’s “wide new circle of pals” are “just hangers-on looking to make a buck off her show, ‘I Am Cait.'” The magazine claims there are “fears” that “pals like transgender actress Candis Cayne are exploiting Caitlyn.”
“She doesn’t realize she’s being used, because she thinks it’s fair to pay people who appear on the show,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. “But she’s so generous and eager to be loved, she just gives them however much they ask for! It’s sad.”
OK! goes as far as declaring Jenner is “buying her friends.” Of course, any salary for appearances on “I Am Cait” is not up to the star herself, but the network and the production company. But why would the tabloid let a little fact like that stand in the way of its sensational story?
After all, this is the same outlet that claimed back in August that Jenner was “falling in love” with Cayne. Gossip Cop exclusively debunked the dating report, and time has proven we were right. Now a rep for Jenner exclusively tells us this “exploitation” story is similarly “false.”
