Without competition from the World Series, NBC's football coverage is slightly lifted on Sunday.

NBC didn't even have close competition on Sunday with a steady outing of Sunday Night Football. Slightly lifted from last week's time-slot conflict with the World Series, the game averaged a preliminary 7.6 rating among adults 18-49. (That number will likely go up around a point with Final Returns.)

Football overage on CBS aided 60 Minutes. Though time zone adjustments will likely see its demo score go down, its preliminary 3.1 rating among adults 18-49 was more than double its latest showing. CBS' dramas — Madam Secretary (1.4 adults), The Good Wife (1.1 adults), CSI Cyber (0.8 adults) — were also tentatively lifted.

ABC's trio of dramas — Once Upon a Time (1.5 adults), Blood & Oil (0.8 adults) and Quantico (1.3 adults) — all held steady after an even America's Funniest Home Videos (1.0 adults).

The Fox comedy lineup experienced drops across the board from the series' most recent airings after football — but held largely steady with the most recent solo outings. Bob's Burgers (1.4 adults) and The Simpsons (1.5 adults) led the night after some minor NFL overrun, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.2 adults), Family Guy (1.1 adults) and Last Man on Earth (1.0 adults) finished off the evening.
