Spectre Box Office Second Weekend

(Columbia Pictures)

James Bond is keeping the box office competition at bay for a second week in a row.

Spectre, the 24th film in the beloved spy franchise, is winning the weekend box office again. The movie will take the number one spot with a projected $33.9 million. That will easily put the film over the $100 million mark in just two weekends.

The Peanuts Movie is continuing to perform strongly as well, and should land second with $23.9 million. As the holiday season draws nearer, the early star-studded offering Love The Coopers is also attracting moviegoers. At $8.4 million, it will likely open in third place.

Eyeing fourth is The Martian with a possible $6.7 million. The Chilean mine drama The 33 is expected to debut with $5.6 million to nab a fifth-place finish. Following at number six may be Goosebumps, if it scares up $4.6 million in ticket sales.

A box office total of $4.3 million would put Bridge of Spies in the number seven spot. Potentially rounding out the Top 10 are Hotel Transylvania 2 ($2.3 million), the Bollywood movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ($2.3 million), and My All American ($1.5 million). All figures are currently estimates, and Gossip Cop will have updates. TELL US: What are YOU seeing this weekend?
