As Gossip Cop previously reported, it’s “Bieber Week” on “Ellen.” Bieber is appearing on the the talk show every day until his new album Purpose drops on Friday. But Rogen happened to have been booked this week, as well, to promote his new movie The Night Before, and the situation could have gotten quite uncomfortable based on their history.

As Gossip Cop noted in the past, Rogen and Bieber have been engaged in a feud for nearly two years, and it all began when the actor called the singer a “piece of [expletive]” on Twitter following Bieber’s January 2014 DUI arrest. Rogen subsequently went on to bash Bieber on talks shows, including “Watch What Happens Live,” The Howard Stern Show,” and the “Today Show.”

But on Wednesday’s “Ellen,” Rogen apologized and explained that the situation was entirely his fault. “It’s not really a beef. I just called him some really mean things on social media for no real reason,” Rogen said. “It really hurt his feelings, as it should have, and a lot of people got really mad at me.”

The actor went on to explain, “I had only met him very briefly, and it was honestly a very pleasant interaction.” Rogen then revealed that when the two ran into each other backstage at the talk show, “We made up, which is fantastic.” In reference to Bieber’s leaked nude pictures, Rogen then joked, “In light of recent photos, I want him on my side.”

Following the apology, Bieber came out on stage and the two hugged it out. Watch the video below, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
