Morgan Frazier showed she has the voice of an angel with her take on “Lips Of An Angel” for “The Voice” Live Playoffs on Tuesday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Frazier inspired not one, but two steals during season 9. She was the very last steal of the Battles when Pharrell picked her up from Blake Shelton. Then, during the Knockouts, a regretful Shelton stole her back.
The move seemed to pay off, based on the response to her first live performance. Former coach Pharrell told Frazier afterward, “It’s so awesome to see how far you’ve come… Hearing a performance like this, you totally know why Blake totally picked you back up. This is your time.”
Gwen Stefani told the contestant, “I love your voice. The verses were just so beautiful… The way you built to such powerful belting is crazy to me.” Shelton also commended Frazier for the way she worked up to her big note. He even told her, “I got lost that this is ‘The Voice.’ You’re like a country standard to me already.”
