Khloe Kardashian is apologizing for a pre-scheduled promotional tweet that was sent on her Twitter account amid the Paris attacks.
On Friday evening, as the devastating tragedy in France continued to unfold, a tweet from Kardashian’s official account promoted a link to her website. A short time later, the reality start deleted the message. She then sent a new tweet offering an apology.
“I am sorry! This tweet was a preschedule tweet that I arranged,” she explained. “I turned off the scheduled tweet but somehow it posted anyways. I’m sorry.”
Kardashian ended her message with a broken-heart emoji. The reality star had actually already commented on the tragic events earlier in the evening. On Instagram, Kardashian shared a photo of a flower arrangement resembling the French flag with the words “Pray For Paris” over it.
In the caption, she quoted the speech President Obama gave addressing the attacks. “Once again, we’ve seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians,” Obama said, as quoted by Kardashian. “This is an attack not just on Paris, it’s attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share.”
Kardashian’s family members also took to social media to offer prayers, and none of them have posted over those messages yet like she accidentally did. The famous clan is no stranger to Paris, traveling there several times a year. Kim Kardashian and Kanye also have an apartment in the city.
