Love and second chances are popular themes on Justin Bieber's new album, "Purpose."
But how much of the new release is actually inspired by Justin's relationship with Selena Gomez?
"A lot of it, dude," Justin – who is Access Hollywood's Artist of the Month for November – previously told Access' Billy Bush. "A lot of it."
Justin Bieber's 'Purpose'
So exactly how many of the album's 18 tracks are about Selena?
"Probably like three," Justin admitted, calling the starlet his "first real love."
Now that "Purpose" is here, Access takes a closer look at the songs that detail the three-year relationship with his most notable ex…
"Mark My Words"
The album's opening song, it's the ultimate redemption track, as Justin promises to prove he's worthy of his ex's love.
"But I won't let me lose you, and I won't let us just fade away," he sings. "After all that we've been through, I'ma show you more than I ever could say"
"What Do You Mean?"
In the album's third track, Justin addresses his on-again/off-again relationship with Selena: "Tryna catch the beat, make up your heart. Don't know if you're happy or complaining. Don't want for us to end, where do I start?"
While news broke that Jelena called it quits in November of 2012, the couple was continuously spotted getting cozy together over the next two years. Justin posted this photo in January 2014 of Selena's arms wrapped around him, captioned: "Love the way you look at me."
"No Pressure"
The album's seventh track, featuring Big Sean, also alludes to Justin's love for Selena, as he accepts the blame for their failed relationship in hopes of reconciliation.
"And I'ma put up a fight for it; never give up a love like this," he sings. "Finally I found someone that can do me like no other. Talking to my conscience, I made a few mistakes. I did it to myself; I'm the only one to blame. I know you need a little while to believe again."
On March 3, 2014, Justin posted these stunning pictures of Selena to his Instagram page with the caption, "Most elegant princess in the world." This pic could have been his public plea for Selena to take him back.
With these heartfelt songs on Justin's album, is it possible the two could ever give love another chance?
"I don't know what happens. I don't know what is going to happen in the future," the singer told Billy. "I think we both gotta do some soul searching ourselves and figure out ourselves before we can just try to figure out each other."
