Justin Bieber Announces Purpose World Tour

(Ellen DeGeneres Show)

Justin Bieber announced his “Purpose World Tour” on Wednesday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Check out the video and schedule below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, this is “Bieber Week” on DeGeneres’ talk show, timed to Friday’s release of his new album, Purpose. The record is Bieber’s first in three years, and this will now be his first tour in as many years. Hilariously, when DeGeneres asked when the tour will begin, the superstar drew a blank.

“Oh, gosh,” he exclaimed. “This was the only thing I had to remember.” No one in the studio seemed to know the date, either, but an on-screen graphic helpfully revealed the tour kicks off on March 9.

The first stop will be in Seattle, and then Bieber will wind his way through the United States and Canada for more than 50 shows. The last North American date is currently scheduled for July 18 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Pre-sales will begin this Monday, before general ticket sales open the following Friday.

Opening acts for the tour have yet to be revealed, and the international dates are still to be determined. Check out the current schedule and announcement video below. TELL US: Are you excited Bieber’s finally going on tour again?
