Jessica Alba is not going to “pull the plug” on her marriage to Cash Warren, despite a report from this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct the story.
According to the new issue of Star, “a friendly brunch in Beverly Hills turned nasty” recently when Alba and Warren openly fought in front of their pals. A so-called “eyewitness” for the magazine claims, “He told the table that he felt like a ‘kept man,’ and stay-at-home dad, to which Jessica unapologetically snapped: ‘I’m sorry that I’ve done the right things with my money and you haven’t.'”
“That pointed comment instantly derailed the brunch and had onlookers whispering about the state of the couple’s marriage,” writes the tabloid. “Jessica and Cash have been fighting nonstop lately — mostly about money. And now things have gotten so bad, friends fear they may soon pull the plug on their seven-year marriage.” The rest of the story is filled out with alleged details about Alba’s career-minded ways “tearing them apart.”
If any of this sounds familiar, it’s because In Touch ran a similar story back in September about the marriage being in “jeopardy.” Gossip Cop exclusively busted the report, with a rep telling us it was entirely untrue. In fact, the tabloids have running the same tales about Alba and Warren for years. And yet the couple’s marriage hasn’t changed… and clearly the gossip mill’s “sources” haven’t either.
