Geraldo Rivera’s Daughter Was Inside Paris Stadium During Attacks

Geraldo Rivera's daughter, Simone, is safe after surviving Friday's devastating terror attacks in Paris.

The Fox News contributor revealed that Simone was inside a Paris stadium as multiple acts of violence unfolded nearby and throughout the city, killing more than 150 people.

Fighting back tears, Rivera recounted Simone's harrowing ordeal on air, telling network colleague Shepard Smith that the 21-year-old said she "heard three explosions" during the soccer match she was attending.

Simone is studying abroad in the French capital and went to the game with her best friend, Rivera said. President Francois Hollande was also in the stands and evacuated before declaring a state of emergency.

Rivera held up a photo of Simone during his interview and said that he and his family had been planning to visit her in Paris for the Thanksgiving holiday.

He also shared his relief and gratitude for Simone's safety on social media.
