Disclosure and Sam Smith performed “Omen” on this week’s “SNL.” The song is the second single off the album Caracal from the electronic duo of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. Disclosure performed “Magnets” with Lorde for their first “SNL” song. See the video below of Disclosure and Sam Smith’s performance of “Omen” on “Saturday Night Live.”

While it’s the “SNL” debut for Disclosure, Sam Smith was the musical guest in March 2014 when Louis C.K. hosted “Saturday Night Live.” “Omen” is actually the second collaboration between Disclosure and Smith. His vocals were featured on the 2012 song “Latch” from Disclosure’s first album Settle. “Omen” reached number one on Billboard’s Dance Club Song chart, number five on the U.S. Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, number 64 on the Hot 100 chart, and number 32 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart.

The music video for “Omen” has Sam Smith singing in a club while the rest of the patrons are dancing seductively around him. Shot in Mexico City, the action takes place in the future and features a heavily tattooed woman and lots of clubgoers with nose pierces.

Sam Smith isn’t the only collaborator on Disclosure’s second album Caracal. The Weekend, Miguel and Lorde also lend their vocals.
