Bindi Irwin and boyfriend Chandler Powell are NOT breaking up because he’s allegedly jealous of her “Dancing With the Stars” partner Derek Hough, despite a completely made-up webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor. We’re told it’s simply “not true.”
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the media blitz surrounding Irwin and Hough has taken an emotional toll on Powell. A so-called “source” tells the webloid that Powell feels “he can’t compete” with Hough, and is now “feeling very insecure” in his relationship with Irwin. The blog’s supposed “insider” further (inaccurately) adds, “He’s convinced [Bindi] is going to dump him.”
The misguided webloid then claims that it’s actually Powell’s “jealousy and insecurities,” which are ruining his relationship with Irwin and cause their breakup. But none of these jealousy accusations are the least bit true.
Just three days ago, Irwin posted a sweet birthday message to Powell on her Instagram page. The”Dancing With The Stars” contestant described her boyfriend as “a person who inspires me every day” and “makes me smile no matter where I am.” She went on to thank Powell for everything he does for her, adding, “I’m blessed to be a part of your world.”
That hardly sounds like the sentiment of a woman who’s allegedly fed up with her boyfriend and ready to dump him. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Irwin, and we’re exclusively told the webloid’s premise about “jealousy” issues and an imminent breakup are just “not true.”
