Angelina Jolie was NOT told by doctors she’s “too skinny” for breast reconstruction surgery, despite a fabricated webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this story. We’re told it “never happened.”
According to RadarOnline, Jolie wanted plastic surgery to rebuild her breasts following her double mastectomy last year. But in lieu of traditional breast implants, the actress supposedly wanted an alternative procedure in which her breasts would be augmented from her own stomach fat.
However, a so-called “source” tells the webloid that doctors refused to perform the surgery because Jolie “wasn’t a candidate for the fat transfer… she is just too thin.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the actress, who assures us that this entire account simply “never happened.” Jolie had her breasts reconstructed using traditional implants, and at no point did she request a fat transfer. The webloid’s story is simply a shameless way to continue the phony narrative that the actress’s weight is a cause for concern, which it is not.
Gossip Cop previously busted the webloid for alleging that Jolie refused to do interviews with the “Today” show after NBC fired Ann Curry. A rep for “Today” told us that no such incident took place. Additionally, Jolie has participated in several interviews with the “Today” show following the site’s fake story.
