Hello, hi, wow! Adele performed for the first time in nearly three years during a BBC One special on Thursday, Nov. 5, and her live debut of her megasmash new single, "Hello," was emotional, powerful, and perfect.
In the BBC clip, the record-smashing songstress, 27, takes to the stage in a gorgeous sequined dress by Jenny Packham, and in typical Adele-fashion, commands the audience with her fixating, soulful, and impressive voice.

Following her live rendition of "Hello," the British singer-songwriter hosted a Q&A with the lucky audience. One fan asked whether her Twitter account, which counts more than 23 million followers, was really managed by the superstar herself, or her management team.
"I'm not a drinker anymore," the mom of one replied. "But when Twitter first came out, I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So, my management decided you have to go through two people, and then it has to be signed off by someone."

However, the posts are hers. "They are all my tweets," she shared. "No one writes my tweets, they just post them for me."

Indeed, Adele revealed in her tell-all Rolling Stone cover story this past week that she is no longer smoking or boozing. "I absolutely loved it, but it's not that f—king cool when I'm dying from a smoking-related illness and my kid is, like, devastated," she said of smoking. "I used to be able to drink anyone under the table and still be able to put on an all-right show. But with kids, hangovers are torture. They just know. They pick up on it and just go for you."
The 10-time Grammy winner, who leads a notably private life with her partner, Simon Konecki, and their 3-year-old son, Angelo, spoke in detail about her guy with the mag. "He's so supportive. And that takes a very big man, because I'm very successful at what I do," she said of her businessman beau. "My last boyfriend was uncomfortable with how successful I was, and the fact that he had to share me with lots of people."
Motherhood, too, is lovely. "He's a little angel," Adele said of her baby boy. "All the things I really like about myself, he brings out in me, and he's the only person that tells me no. He completely rules me. He's the boss of me, and it's so funny for other people to watch, because I'm the boss of everything in my work life."
