ABC is upping Keli Lee.

The executive vp of casting has been named the managing director of international content and talent for ABC Entertainment Group. With the promotion, Lee will relocate to the London office and continue reporting to ABC Entertainment Group president Paul Lee.

In her new role, Lee will help both the network and studio find emerging formats, writers, directors, actors and shows. She’ll work in close partnership with ABC Studios’ executive vp Patrick Moran and executive vp of comedy, international scripted development Samie Falvey and the international formats team at ABC Television Network. Ayo Davis will serve as the interim head of casting

“Keli will play a critical role helping ABC identify new opportunities for talent and content around the world,” said Paul Lee. “She has a keen eye and a proven track record when it comes to emerging talent.”

Lee has led all casting and talent deal negotiations for ABC's network and studio, including Modern Family, Scandal, Once Upon a Time, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., How to Get Away With Murder, Lost and Grey’s Anatomy.

She also created and produced ABC Discovers, a series of initiatives that focuses on recruiting diverse talent. The program has served as a launching pad for Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), Chadwick Boseman (Marvel’s Black Panther), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat) and more. Lee also oversees the Latino and Asian Global Outreach Initiative, which identifies and develops diverse talent from around the world.
