Krysten Ritter stars in the Marvel's second drama for the streaming service.
It has finally arrived: Netflix on Friday released the first full-length trailer for Jessica Jones.
Following a series of short, cryptic teasers the streaming service debuted the two-and-a-half-minute actioned-packed trailer showcasing the wit and, naturally, fighting skills of Marvel's second female hero.
The series, set to debut Nov. 20, stars Krysten Ritter as the eponymous former superhero-turned-private detective alongside Mike Colter, who plays Luke Cage — Jones' comic book boyfriend and future star of his own Netflix series. David Tennant, Carrie-Anne Moss and Rachael Taylor also make appearances during the 13-episode run. Melissa Rosenberg serves as the showrunner.
For Marvel, Jessica Jones marks its second female-fronted series after ABC's midseason entry Agent Carter.
The timing of the trailer's debut -- about a month out from the series debut -- comes merely days before DC Comics launches its first female-driven superhero series: CBS' Supergirl.
