‘Tonight Show’ Producers NOT Planning Intervention For “Boozy Jimmy Fallon”

Jimmy Fallon Intervention

“Tonight Show” producers are NOT planning an alcohol intervention for host Jimmy Fallon, despite a fabricated webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this story. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.

As Gossip Cop reported, Fallon had to be hospitalized this past Saturday after falling down and hurting a couple of fingers at an after-party thrown by the Harvard Lampoon, which had earlier presented the comedian with a humor award. Four months before, as Gossip Cop also noted, Fallon had to undergo emergency surgery for ring avulsion after falling in his home and catching his wedding ring on a table.

Now, according to RadarOnline, Fallon’s unfortunate, yet coincidental hand injuries were allegedly a result of him being “drunk,” leaving NBC executives “concerned.” A so-called “source” tells the webloid that “Tonight Show” producer Lorne Michaels and one of the top chiefs at NBC “have recently had several very frank and honest conversations about Jimmy.”

The webloid’s supposed “insider” adds that the two are “monitoring the situation,” and discussing the possibility of arranging an “intervention.” “He was definitely drunk,” another questionable “eyewitness” tells the webloid about Fallon’s recent fall. The site’s alleged “source” adds, “The police helped him up. He immediately started yelling, ‘More Jaeger! More Jaeger!’”

A source at NBC assures Gossip Cop the story is “untrue,” and a rep for Fallon similarly tells us, “There is no truth to the intervention story.” The “Tonight Show” host’s spokesperson adds that there have been “no meetings with the NBC brass,” and that Fallon’s recent finger injury was “an innocent accident, non-alcohol related.”
