Selena Gomez is NOT “quitting music.” HollywoodLife is late and wrong.
As Gossip Cop reported, OK! claimed in its new issue that Gomez wanted to quit Hollywood “for a simpler, quieter life.” We exclusively busted the story within hours of it hitting newsstands on Wednesday. An impeccable source close to the singer told us the story was “absurd.”
Now two days later, on Friday, HollywoodLife is exclaiming, “Selena Gomez Quitting Music After Success Of ‘Revival’ — Report.” In the accompanying story, the bad blog writes, “A source claims that the 23-year-old is planning on making Revival her last album because she doesn’t want to make music anymore.” The site then goes on to regurgitate the already-debunked OK! allegations.
Naturally, the fabrication factory ran the claims without bothering to fact-check. Instead, it chose to spread misinformation that had already been proven wrong. Most disturbingly, this isn’t the first time HollywoodLies has done this, and sadly, something tell us it won’t be the last.
But as the webloid remains as wrong as ever, it keeps proving Gomez right. Last year, the star point-blank told her fans, “Hollywood is never true. Ever.” And just earlier this month, she declared in an interview, “HollywoodLife is the worst.” She’ll get no argument here.
