Sandra Bullock did NOT adopt a second child, despite widespread rumors. See video below.
Earlier this month, RadarOnline claimed to have an “exclusive” about Bullock adopting a baby girl. The site claimed the Oscar winner “brought the infant home to Los Angeles, and has slowly been taking the newest member of her family out in public.” The webloid even ran a follow-up story about Bullock’s “first days with new baby daughter.”
The reports were picked up by a number of outlets that don’t bother to fact check, such as HollywoodLife and Perez Hilton. Gossip Cop reached out to Bullock’s rep to check the accuracy of the claims, but did not hear back, so we opted not to run the unsupported speculation. Now the actress herself is setting the record straight.
Congratulated on her supposed adoption during an Associated Press interview, Bullock looked a little confused and taken aback. “There’s only one adopted child in my household, and his name is Louis,” she responded. “If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it.”
“I would be loud and clear and say, ‘Yes, I have officially adopted a second child,'” continued Bullock. “Right now, Louis must be it.” The proud mom went on to call her little boy “delicious” and “beautiful.”
Gossip Cop previously corrected false second adoption claims in 2011 and in 2012, the latter of which also came from RadarOnline, too. Clearly, the outlet still has no idea what’s going on with Bullock’s personal life. Check out the video below of Bullock revealing she has NOT adopted again.
