Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess got mixed reviews dancing the Argentine tango to Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch the video below.

For Monday’s “Halloween” night, Carter and Burgess did a Frankenstein-theme routine, with Burgess as the Bride of Frankenstein. And while the two looked the part, their dance was a tiny bit of a horror. Julianne Hough said, “I love your commitment to everything you do,” but noted, “It was a little bit clunky.”

Bruno Tonioli expressed that he was “bewitched” by Carter immersing himself in the dance, but felt, “You did lose the flavor of the Argentine tango.” Like Frankenstein, he believed the routine looked stiff. He explained that with the Argentine tango one “needs to look like you’re improvising.” And Carrie Ann Inaba liked that “you were focused” and “did not break character,” but expressed that he needs to “keep growing” as a dancer.

And for Carter and Burgess’ Argentine tango to “Bring Me To Life” on Halloween night, they received 24 out of 30 from the judges, 8s from each judge. Check out the video below of Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess on “Halloween” night of “Dancing With The Stars,” and tell us what you think!
