Khloe Kardashian has canceled her upcoming book tour to stay at Lamar Odom’s bedside, according to multiple reports. Gossip Cop has reached out for confirmation.
The cover of Kardashian’s new book, called Strong Looks Better Naked, was revealed on Wednesday, showing her naked on both the front and back covers (see right and below). It officially goes on sale on November 3, and a limited number of quantities have been signed by the reality star. But Kardashian is apparently no longer planning to do press appearances to support the project.
In the wake of husband Odom’s hospitalization, Kardashian has reportedly canceled her scheduled book tour so she does not have to leave him during this difficult time. As Gossip Cop has reported, Odom remains hospitalized in critical condition more than a week after he was found unresponsive at a brothel. While he’s since regained consciousness, he remains on dialysis for kidney failure and underwent emergency surgery on Thursday.
The operation came just one day after Kardashian called off her divorce from Odom, withdrawing their case from the Los Angeles court system. She has not mentioned her book on social media at all despite the cover’s release. And though it’s being categorized as a “health & fitness” offering, leaked excerpts have indicated she does not speak too kindly about Odom and the breakdown of their marriage.
The official description reads, “Khloé Kardashian shares her secrets for finding strength of body, heart, mind, and soul with inspirational, revealing stories of her own struggles with weight, relationships, and her self-image.” It’s not clear when the publicity tour was scheduled to begin. Gossip Cop reached out to Regan Arts, publisher of Kardashian’s book, for comment, but did not immediately hear back. We will have updates.
