Too much of a good thing? Kellie Pickler has never met an animal she didn't love or want to adopt. And while her husband, Kyle Jacobs, appreciates her fondness for all things furry — or in some cases, scaly or feathery — more isn't necessarily merrier.
As seen in this exclusive clip from the couple's upcoming CMT reality show, I Love Kellie Pickler, Jacobs' tolerance for their ever-growing collection of pets is quickly waning.

"Kellie loves animals," the songwriter says of his wife of four years. "Which is great. But in the past, she has literally adopted a raccoon, I can't even count how many dogs, cats, a snake...I mean, sometimes, enough is enough."

The American Idol alum won't be deterred, though. Over Jacobs' objections, she chases down and adopts a little peep of chickens.
"I think it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission," the "Someone Somewhere Tonight" singer quips.
